Valuations

Valuations are provided for a variety of reasons, including Estate Taxation (Probate), Insurance and family division.

Our Insurance Valuation Document will provide full written descriptions together with measurements and any identifying marks and numbers. Insurance Valuations can be undertaken for single items, specialist collections, specific pieces within a home and complete house contents.

Probate Valuations are conducted to give a prompt and efficient service to executors and trustees, in order that the estate can be dealt with quickly. We will also advise on the security of the contents in unoccupied premises and if necessary remove any vulnerable pieces to safe keeping.

Before preparing any valuation, we will consider any legal or technical requirements in order to give the requisite documentation.
